Baphian opera

Baphian opera, or Shánggyu (pronounciation: []), is a form of opera usually with a small cast and an even smaller ensemble of instruments, usually just a haban and a lyre. Baphian opera is commonly adapted into plays and even sometimes films.

Baphian opera commonly is made with one sex chunk as its entire cast, men being the whole cast and playing women parts, and women being the whole cast and playing men parts. It's very common for entire opera houses and theatres to be run by one sex chunk, it's quite rare for there to be a mixed cast and is really only used with foreign productions who don't know how Kaneed sexes work.
