Naruist Azkali describes the period of Azkali history between Karomiko 11, 10,839 (September 24, 2023) and Angapizkea 20, 10,840 (February 26, 2024), when Korru Naru and the Yellow Dragon Society narrowly won the Karomiko 11 Azkali presidential elections, called by then Azkali president Chei Nakathinai. One month before the election, the ruling Azkali Peoples' Party (AKR) fractured, with the Socialist Party of Azkali (IRA), the National Party of Azkali (NRA), and Democratic Party (KR) nominating their own candidates. In the resulting election, in combination with sabotage efforts by the Yellow Dragon Society to feed votes from smaller parties to itself, Korru Naru was narrowly elected to the presidency by a margin of 15,703 votes (0.21%); counting only votes for the Yellow Dragon Society itself, Naru's margin of victory was only 491 votes (0.01%). Under Naru's rule, Azkali was transformed from an unstable presidential republic into a totalitarian dictatorial monarchy, which commited genocide against Azkalis and various minority groups in Azkali, waged war against Sunteria, and ultimately attempted to achieve anarcho-primitivism by the destruction of Azkali society at large.
