Avinað language

Avinað is a language, or writing system, used in Xjetjeŋ by approximately nine hundred thousand people, almost all being deaf or mute. Unlike any other natural language, Avinað is not spoken; speakers communicate to each other via text, or via a specially constructed whistle register. Besides whistling, there also exists several other methods of communication, including a sign language
