Ukilen Tribe Religion

Ukilen Tribe Religion refers to a family of religions originating from Ukilen that have a few common traits but are distinct religions practiced by many people in all of Ukilen and other parts of the world. There are 6 major religions practiced in this family, Shidamism, Treveism, Garsitium, Farsik, [PLACEHOLDER], and Jyostism.

The most common traits they share besides place of origin are the belief that nature, a specific facet of nature in some cases, carries the wills and knowledge of whatever depiction of god the said religion holds, in Shidamism' case, the belief that camels (and camel-like animals) know where all is, or in Treveism' case, believing that the steppe wind and grass speak gods will.

Shidamism

Shidamism is the most practiced Ukilen tribe religion today, being the state religions of Jkawi and Union, as well as having millions of followers in Baphia, Kgokkonitlag, Sunteria, and Azkali collectively. Shidamism is the most divergent from the other 5 religions, mostly taking bits from all 5 as well as Jkawi folk tradition, as well as wholly Shidamist qualities, such as veneration of camels.

Nrþki'rdu

Nrþki'rdu is the most commonly practiced Ukilen tribe religion in Kzmr, being followed by the vast majority of the population. The religion is highly astrolatrous, focusing on the glorification of various planetary bodies, stars, asterisms, and constellations. The astromantic systems of Nrþki'rdu are considerably robust, with the night sky being divided into the classical planets and the fixed stars, and divination involves only one of these at a time. Fixed-star divination is based on times of heliacal rising and setting and, to a lesser extent, the variability of the stars Mira and Sheliak, while planetary divination focuses on specific aspects rather than location within the fixed plane.

The ritual aspect of Nrþki'rdu is equally complex, with its most basic form consisting of the arrangement of objects or large-scale structures in accordance with specific star patterns as a means of 'invocation', and more sophisticated manners entailing elaborate consecration rituals for the objects used in this construction.
