Baphia has over 200 million people within its borders and is the most populated country in the world, as well as being both one of the least densely populated overall (without counting [[Turku]] or [[Bongsibon]]) and having the most densely populated city in the world, [[Turku]]. About Half of the country is [[w:Desert|desert]] with the other half being either [[w:Steppe|steppe]], [[w:Temperate coniferous forest|pine forest]], [[w:Swamp|swamp]] or [[w:Tundra|tundra]] in their respective regions. The country is not very mountainous, with the only mountains being around [[Turku]] and near the [[Azkali]] border. Baphia is currently experiencing a 4th baby boom due to returning soldiers from the [[3rd Bapho-Azkali war]].           

Baphia has had occupants' sense at least 4500 BC if not sooner, some estimates even say as early as 7000 BC. During initial occupation of Baphia, only [[Kalikind|Kalis]] and proto-[[Kaneedkind#Proto-Kaneeds|Kaneeds]] had settled in the area. Many proto-Kaneeds went north to [[Jyosti Islands|Jyosti]] and settled there. The first archaeologically attested wave of migrations is sometime in 5000 BC from Azkali and [PLACEHOLDER]. The first permanent settlement was around where modern [[Bongsibon]] is today, some argue that Bongsibon is this first settlement in Ukilen. Sometime in 2500 BC, Kaneeds from the north began to come south and settle in modern day [[Kzmr]] and slowly became what are now known as Xeric Kaneed. Soon after another wave of Kaneed migration from Jyosti and Modern day Azkali slowly made Kaneed become the majority in northern Ukilen. Many of the tribes were spread out and soon issues with resources in the desert and plains arose, this eventually lead to the tribe wars.             

The settlement of Turku is drenched in myths and legends. The first archaeological attestments of settlement occuring in the Turku basin are before even the Tribe wars. The first recorded mention of a city called Turku was by [[BAPHIAN WRITER|placeholder]] in their book [[BAPHIAN BOOK|placeholder]], which claimed "It was quite the sight to see Kali and Kaneed getting a long". The city was primarily a port city, but ever sense the leader of the Baphian tribe made it the capital, it soon exploded to being a metropolis even back then. Turku quickly became the cultural, and economic capital of the Baphian tribe.

The 12 Tribes wars was a series of battles and wars across the 12 remaining tribes of northern Ukilen. It is generally considered the dark ages of the region due to how unintelligent the people were compared to not even 100 years ago due to the constant battling. The wars lasted about 200 years, ending around 600 CE. The war ended with 2 tribes reigning the whole north due to a series of treaties of both tribes, Baphia to the west, and Yamahat to the east.

Some say the peace era didn't really end until the first Bapho-Azkali war in 1980, but some argue it slowly went down hill after around the 1700s.

The formation of modern day Baphia was peaceful but sudden, with the Yamahat monarchy collapsing and cede their land to the Baphian tribe, with the exceptions of [[Jyosti Islands|Jyosti]], [[Hallei]], Pyatle, and Sakle, would shape what most of modern Baphia would look like.
