'''Chekearoa''' was a city and former capital of [[Azkali]]. Chekearoa was located alongside the [[Chekearozkot River]], situated below the [[Makletz Plateau]]. Chekearoa was the capital of the [[Capital Province]] of [[Azkali]], being the 3rd largest city of said province. Chekearoa was Azkali's 6th largest city, and was one of, if not the oldest continuously inhabited places in the world, being inhabited since 8000-6000 BCE - predating the 1st Kali migration to northern Ukilen, now modern day [[Baphia]]. At it's peak, around 1975, Chekearoa had a population of almost 250,000 people. In 2024, following the [[Firebombing of Chekearoa (2024)|firebombing of the city by Sunteria]] in the wake of the [[Azkalo-Sunterian War]], and the [[Katoz catastrophe]], the city was made uninhabitable, and was subsequently deserted.

The oldest written record of the existence of Chekearoa comes from the [[Noki capsule]], created in the year 2302 BCE, predating even the migration of Loremesians to the Loremesian Isles. The second oldest written record is found one and a half thousand years later, around the year 550-500 BCE, in the form of hospital medical records from the first location of the [[Alechearratsua Atakon (Chekearoa)|Alechearratsua Atakon]]. Contrastingly, the oldest fossils found in present day Chekearoa are between 12,000 and 10,000 years old, belonging to both [[Kalikind|kalis]] and humans.
