Abari Norle

Abari Norle (February 6, 1913 – February 10, 2026), commonly known as the 1st Noelle was a prolific Bapho-Noellastani electronics engineer, political theorist, and author. The daughter of Noellastani businessman Wozang Norle, Abari founded the Noelle Semiconductor Company in 1936, which would transform into Noelle Electronics, inventing and pioneering the production of semiconductors. Abari's wealth grew exponentially as the demand for computers arose, becoming the first multibillionaire in 1949, with a fortune at its peak in 1979 comprising nearly 9% of the Ukilen Union's GDP. Abari oversaw the growth of Noelle Electronics and the founding of the Noelle Group, transforming the company from a semiconductor company to an electronics, pharmaceuticals, and research based conglomerate and monopoly. Abari was the founder and largest shareholder of Noelle Electronics to this day, and was the richest individual in the world.

Abari authored the political manifesto Problems with My Nation in 1952, pioneering the political philosophy of Inwa. She played a key role in the founding of the Lotus Party in 1966, influencing the party's growth and ideology. Following the 1969–1970 Azkalis' strike, Abari played a direct role in the propogation of Azkalophobic media, influencing the propogation of Azkalophobic sentiment throughout wider Baphian culture. Through her symbolic position in the Lotus Party as Primary Secretary, Abari was responsible for the creation of the Azkali Plan and the subsequent First Bapho-Azkali War, and genocide and mass-enslavement of Azkali people. Abari founded the Noellastani Peoples' Party in 1990, which would later influence the creation of the Crown Party and the 2005 Noellastani coup of which it conducted. As the Crown Party's Paramount Yugim — the de-facto leader of the party after the coup — Abari helped set in place many of the state policies by which Noellastan would run under until the Baphian Civil War in 2023.

Abari died of heart failure in her sleep on February 10th, 2026, following months of illness. Her death has caused a power vacuum in regards to the inheritance of the Noelle Group, which she had ran up until her death, as she believed that the Noelle Group should "die with [her]". In March 2026 she was posthumously and symbolically charged with treason, genocide, enslavement, conspiracy, crimes against sapientkind, and crimes against the Azkali people at large during the ongoing Azkali Genocide Trials.

Bapho-Azkali historian Nietzo Lesautzi described Abari as "the modern day embodiment of evil and excess". Estimates on the number of deaths Abari has been linked to, directly or indirectly, has ranged from 23.2 million to 58.8 million people, a vast majority of which being Azkali and Baphian civilians. Abari is credited with the Ukilen Union's rise as one of the world's great powers and with the Smoldering of Azkali.
