Šertikism

Šertikism is the plurality religion of Sunteria. It is polytheistic. It has two main forms: monolatrous (worship of Šertike alone), which is the most common form, and polylatrous (worship of the entire Šertikist pantheon). It is notable for the belief that souls are each composed of fifteen pieces known as henhmos, and that when one dies of natural causes, one’s soul splits into its constituent henhmos and said henhmos go to join in the formation of new souls (if one dies of reasons other than natural causes, one becomes a ghost). The process of henhmos joining in the formation of new souls is known as fragmentary reincarnation.
