Work on the album had to be restarted in May of 2001 after a fight broke out between Peiderezek and Dsim over Peiderezek's indecisiveness on the genre of the album; Peiderezek had a melt down, and threw the demos out of the studio's window. After this incident, work on the album was paused for a week, before restarting the next week. The track "I Demand A Lawyer" was the most grueling song on the album to produce — over three hundred takes of the song were produced between May and July of 2001, and involved proquiring several out-of-production analog synthesizers for it.
